Description
Vinpocetine is derived from Vincamine a natural indole alkaloid extract from vinca minor (also called Periwinkle), both have been used historially for centuries and more recently both have been approved in Europe following clinical studies showing potent nootropic and cerebral blood flow enhancing effects. Research supports positive enhancements in healthy adults.* Vinpocetine has become one of the most popular nootropcs for improved cerebral blood flow and is widely available in the US.
Legal
As of 04/2018 Vinpocetine is being reconsidered as a supplelement even though the FDA approved it's sales in the 1990's. The fate of this potent nootropic will be determined later this year and it may no longer be available if the FDA rules against it despite no research or reports of any serious side effects but because it is a slightly modfied form of a natural compound designed to be better asborbed.
Dosage
